The Senior DevOps Engineer will help build and operate scalable cloud and data infrastructure, improve deployment automation and observability, strengthen SRE practices, optimize cloud costs, and influence engineering teams to adopt consistent DevOps and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives that implement and enforce best practices across data streaming, processing, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure.

  • Develop and maintain Python automation scripts and tooling for DevOps workflows.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive reliability improvements.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Analyze cloud infrastructure costs and implement appropriate optimization strategies.
  • Support compliance with cloud security policies and best practices.
  • Drive adoption of company standards and help data teams align with DevOps and SRE practices.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to improve infrastructure and development workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with AWS and GCP data services, including Kinesis, Glue, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
  • Production experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads using EKS or GKE.
  • Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform.

  • Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.

  • Ability to influence technical changes across multiple teams.
