Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes (Remote)
ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, data services, CI/CD systems, observability, automation, and site reliability initiatives.

Job Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will help build and operate scalable cloud and data infrastructure, improve deployment automation and observability, strengthen SRE practices, optimize cloud costs, and influence engineering teams to adopt consistent DevOps and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that implement and enforce best practices across data streaming, processing, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage production services on Kubernetes platforms including Amazon EKS and Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform while considering security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions.
- Work with AWS and Google Cloud data services including Kinesis, Glue, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Bigtable.
- Work with workflow orchestration technologies such as Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer.
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts and tooling for DevOps workflows.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive reliability improvements.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
- Analyze cloud infrastructure costs and implement appropriate optimization strategies.
- Support compliance with cloud security policies and best practices.
- Drive adoption of company standards and help data teams align with DevOps and SRE practices.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to improve infrastructure and development workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with AWS and GCP data services, including Kinesis, Glue, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
- Production experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads using EKS or GKE.
- Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions.
- Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
- Experience with observability and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles, including performance monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering.
- Experience implementing cloud infrastructure cost-optimization strategies.
- Ability to influence technical changes across multiple teams.
- Ability to collaborate in an agile environment while supporting multiple engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data lake architectures and big-data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Flink, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and Kubernetes-native tooling.
