Full-Stack Web Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Full-Stack Web Developer to join our remote development team.

As a Full-Stack Web Developer, you will help build, maintain, and improve web applications across both the front end and back end.

You will work with designers, software engineers, product teams, and other developers to create responsive user interfaces, develop application functionality, integrate APIs, work with databases, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing web products.

Candidates should have at least 18 months of practical web development experience. Relevant experience may include professional employment, freelance projects, internships, open-source contributions, or substantial portfolio projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications
• Develop front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build and maintain server-side application functionality
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Work with relational or NoSQL databases
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Test new features before release
• Participate in code reviews
• Maintain clean and understandable code
• Collaborate with design, product, QA, and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of practical web development experience
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience with a back-end technology such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, C#, or similar
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Experience using Git or another version-control system
• Understanding of responsive web development
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Preferred Skills

• React and Node.js experience
• TypeScript knowledge
• Cloud platform familiarity
• Basic CI/CD knowledge
• Automated testing experience
• GitHub portfolio or live development projects
• Agile or Scrum experience

Compensation

The expected compensation range is $75,000–$110,000 per year, depending on technical experience, location, responsibilities, and the employer’s compensation structure.

Remote Work

This position is intended for applicants in the United States and eligible worldwide locations where the employer is able to hire.
