About the Opportunity
Fivetran is hiring a Compensation & Analytics Partner to serve as a senior individual contributor at the intersection of compensation strategy, people analytics, HR technology, equity programs, and AI-assisted data analysis.
This is a full-time remote position based in Costa Rica. The role combines quantitative compensation modeling, global equity strategy, Workday Compensation, HR data infrastructure, executive reporting, change management, and cross-functional partnership.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain compensation models covering salary bands, market pricing, geographic differentials, merit planning, and promotion budgets.
- Use AI platforms such as Claude and ChatGPT to support workforce analysis, benchmark synthesis, reporting, and data transformation.
- Model executive compensation, short-term incentives, and long-term equity strategies.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Stock Administration on global equity program design and governance.
- Use Carta and related systems for equity analytics and scenario modeling.
- Partner with Systems Engineering to design, test, and administer Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation workflows.
- Build and audit Workday reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields.
- Use BigQuery and other analytics tools to analyze and transform workforce data.
- Support data integrations between Workday, payroll systems, compensation-survey platforms, and analytical databases.
- Develop manager guides, FAQs, slide decks, training materials, and other change-management resources.
- Lead compensation and equity training for managers, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and employees.
Required Experience
Candidates need at least six years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, equity strategy, People Analytics, or a related field, including experience operating at a senior or principal individual-contributor level.
The role also requires demonstrated experience designing global compensation and equity programs in partnership with Finance within a fast-moving or scaling technology company.
Systems and Analytics Expertise
Hands-on experience with Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation is required.
Advanced Excel and Google Workspace skills are required, including complex formulas and analytical workflows. Experience with BigQuery and business-intelligence tools is highly valuable.
Strong familiarity with compensation analytics, statistical methods, regression analysis, and distribution metrics is also important.
Equity and AI Experience
Experience with Carta or comparable equity-management tools is strongly preferred.
Fivetran also values hands-on use of AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot for data analysis, SQL or Python generation, spreadsheet formulas, and report creation.
Remote Work
This role is remote within Costa Rica. WorkinVirtual should preserve the Costa Rica restriction and should not present the opportunity as worldwide remote.
