About the Opportunity
EPAM Systems is hiring an AI Solution Architect to design and implement advanced Generative AI solutions across client projects and EPAM’s internal products.
This is a remote opportunity available only from within Ukraine. The role combines solution architecture, software engineering, Python development, Generative AI integration, and hands-on technical implementation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement advanced technical solutions for complex Generative AI challenges.
- Develop, refine, and optimize AI capabilities within EPAM’s internal products.
- Use Generative AI to improve and support the software development lifecycle.
- Work on client-specific projects that integrate AI solutions into business and technical environments.
- Address complex and unpredictable technical and infrastructure challenges.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to support innovative development practices.
- Remain hands-on with coding and implementation rather than working only at the architectural level.
Required Background
Candidates should have demonstrated software-development expertise in an Architect role.
Strong Python skills are required, particularly with Python frameworks used in Generative AI solutions.
The role also calls for experience with at least one additional programming language such as Java, .NET, C/C++, or JavaScript.
Generative AI Experience
Production experience with Generative AI is required, including prompt engineering and AI integration work.
EPAM is looking for someone who is actively interested in advancing their Generative AI expertise and is comfortable combining architectural responsibility with practical coding and implementation.
Working Style
The successful candidate should be comfortable working across both internal product development and external client projects involving AI integration.
The role requires adaptability because projects may involve new technologies, unfamiliar technical challenges, and evolving AI methodologies.
Remote Work
This role supports remote work only from within Ukraine. EPAM also offers optional access to offices and coworking spaces in Ukraine.
