Graphic Designer

About the role

WorkinVirtual is hiring a Graphic Designer to create clear, engaging visual assets for our game development app and related digital experiences. This is a full-time, 100% remote role open to qualified candidates worldwide.

You will work with the product and development team to turn ideas, requirements, and feedback into polished graphics that are practical to use in a digital product. The role covers both in-app visuals and supporting promotional materials.

What you will do

• Design visual assets for the game development app, including interface graphics, icons, illustrations, backgrounds, and other product artwork as needed.
• Create layouts and reusable design components that remain consistent across screen sizes and product updates.
• Prepare graphics and export files in formats and sizes suitable for implementation by developers.
• Design marketing visuals for the website, social channels, app listings, and product announcements.
• Collaborate remotely with product, development, and marketing colleagues; present ideas and revise work based on feedback.
• Keep source files organized, document design decisions, and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Review finished visuals for clarity, accessibility, quality, and consistency before release.

What we are looking for

• A portfolio showing strong graphic design work, especially digital products, games, apps, or comparable interactive experiences.
• At least two years of relevant design experience, or a portfolio that demonstrates equivalent ability.
• Strong fundamentals in composition, typography, color, visual hierarchy, and asset production.
• Working proficiency with tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent professional tools.
• Ability to work from a brief, explain design choices, incorporate feedback, and deliver usable files on time.
• Clear written communication and the ability to collaborate independently in a remote team.

Useful additional experience

Game art, UI design, character or environment illustration, motion graphics, app-store creative, or design systems would be useful. You do not need all of these skills to apply.

Location, schedule, and equipment

This is a 100% remote worldwide opportunity. Candidates may work from any country where they are legally able to perform remote work. Working hours and reasonable collaboration overlap will be agreed with the selected candidate. No travel or relocation is required. Onboarding and collaboration will take place remotely.

You will need a reliable computer suitable for professional design work and a stable internet connection. Any required access to the team’s design and collaboration tools will be discussed during onboarding.

Compensation and employment

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary. The exact compensation will be discussed with candidates during the hiring process and will reflect experience, skills, and location. A specific degree is not required; portfolio quality and demonstrated ability matter most.
