Pune, MH, India – May 6, 2025 – Lupin Limited, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Officer – Engineering (Biotech) to join their team in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional with 4 to 8 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Your Role:
As a Junior Officer – Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical utilities within Lupin’s state-of-the-art biotech facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on management and in-depth knowledge of essential utilities such as chilling plants, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, HVAC systems, FMS, and BMS. A strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures is essential.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues, analyzing breakdown times, and implementing effective corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Developing and managing technical documentation, including the preparation, review, and approval of qualification and validation documents (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, RQ, PV, Interim Reports, etc.) for engineering and other departments.
- Collaborating closely with user departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure preventive maintenance and AMC documents are maintained according to GMP standards.
- Contributing to project execution and commissioning work for HVAC and utility equipment installations.
- Working with the purchase and store departments to maintain an adequate inventory of critical spares for utility equipment.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a proven track record of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
