Freelance Senior Visual Designer

Job Overview

The Senior Visual Designer will produce polished creative work across brand identities, websites, marketing materials, UI components, and related visual systems while maintaining Pixel One’s standards for design quality, organization, collaboration, and client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality brand identities, web designs, marketing assets, and UI components.
• Work within established visual and design systems and contribute thoughtfully to their continued development.
• Prepare design work for client reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining design integrity.
• Provide clean, structured assets to motion designers, developers, illustrators, and other production partners.
• Understand how individual design deliverables connect to the broader creative and production workflow.
• Follow established studio processes, quality standards, and file-organization practices.
• Ensure design output is ready for handoff without requiring additional cleanup.
• Participate in critique sessions and provide and receive direct, constructive feedback.
• Help maintain and improve the overall design quality of the team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in visual design.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically within B2B SaaS, ideally with seed-stage or Series A startups.
• A portfolio demonstrating real B2B or SaaS work across areas such as brand systems, websites, marketing, or product visuals.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work effectively within existing brand systems while evolving them intelligently.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and developing clarity from incomplete or evolving client requirements.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with different visual languages.
• Strong attention to detail throughout design and delivery.
• Clear and proactive communication skills with the ability to move work forward independently.

Remote Work & Schedule
