About the Role
As Director of Paid Social & Video, you will own and scale paid acquisition across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You will manage full-funnel campaigns targeting both customers and service providers, balancing performance, budget efficiency, and long-term growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will build and execute strategy initially, then scale the function by hiring and leading a team.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Strategy & Execution
- Own end-to-end paid social acquisition across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Develop campaign structures, audience strategies, and creative direction
- Manage bidding strategies, budgets, and performance optimization
Full-Funnel Marketing Ownership
- Build campaigns across awareness, consideration, conversion, and remarketing stages
- Tailor messaging and creative for different audience segments
- Optimize performance across the entire customer journey
Performance & Budget Management
- Monitor key metrics such as CAC and LTV:CAC
- Adjust spend based on market conditions, geography, and seasonality
- Ensure profitability and efficiency across campaigns
Testing & Experimentation
- Design and implement structured testing frameworks for creatives and audiences
- Identify performance trends and optimize campaigns proactively
- Build scalable systems for continuous experimentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with SEO, product, design, and analytics teams
- Align paid social strategies with broader growth initiatives
- Direct creative production through collaboration with internal resources
Team Building & Scaling
- Define team structure as the channel grows
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing paid acquisition team
- Establish processes and standards for long-term success
Requirements / Skills
- Strong experience in paid social marketing across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Proven track record managing full-funnel acquisition campaigns
- Deep understanding of performance metrics such as CAC and LTV
- Experience running campaigns across multiple markets and audiences
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize ROI at scale
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace or two-sided platform growth
- Familiarity with streaming and connected TV advertising channels
- Experience using AI tools for campaign optimization and creative testing
- Background in high-growth startups or performance-driven environments
