About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to develop high-quality data pipelines and deliver reliable data products.
This role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, contributing to AI-driven data initiatives while improving the organization’s data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and platform services on GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable data products and datasets
- Manage data orchestration workflows and pipeline scheduling
- Maintain and improve data lake and data warehouse systems
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient data processing systems
- Contribute to continuous improvements and new data initiatives
Requirements / Skills
- Strong experience with SQL and dbt
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Dataproc)
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control (Git)
- Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Familiarity with Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Understanding of distributed systems (e.g., Apache Spark) is a plus
- Interest in machine learning concepts and data-driven applications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
