About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Technician to join our team at the Massimo Dutti Distribution Center in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support to departments on health and safety matters.
  • Participate in CSS meetings and ensure the evaluation and monitoring of proposals.
  • Disseminate health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Propose preventive measures to address identified risks and non-conformities.
  • Develop and implement the annual health and safety plan.
  • Prepare and submit annual reports on health and safety activities.
  • Analyze training needs and develop corresponding actions.
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections and prepare reports.
  • Monitor and validate incident investigations.
  • Analyze health surveillance results with the External Prevention Service.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and implement action plans.
  • Manage contractor health and safety coordination through the CAE application.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Postgraduate Programme in Workplace Safety and Prevention.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
