Gothenburg, Sweden – Essity, a leading global hygiene and health company behind well-known brands like Libero, Libresse, Tena, and Lotus, is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join their Consumer Goods Sweden team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a knack for numbers, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
This full-time, 11-month temporary position offers a hybrid work model based in Essity’s Gothenburg office. As an Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting Key Account Managers to drive business growth with both traditional and e-commerce clients within the Swedish grocery retail sector. You’ll be working across multiple product categories and iconic brands, collaborating closely with internal teams and a Nordic network of e-commerce specialists.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, negotiating, and analyzing marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring sales and activities for internal and external reporting.
- Preparing and following up on product launches.
- Evaluating and optimizing product assortment at customer level.
- Working closely with Essity’s sales force.
- Managing invoices and administering agreements and pricing.
- Developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with clients.
- Ensuring effective online content, assortment, and offers.
- Developing, implementing, and tracking online activities.
- Full budget and demand responsibility for Pure Player accounts.
- Leading contract negotiations for assortment and pricing.
- Driving category collaborations with customers alongside the Customer Marketing team.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in account management, preferably within the consumer goods industry. A university degree or equivalent is considered advantageous. Knowledge of e-commerce, including online search and merchandising, is a plus. Fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken) is essential, along with proficiency in digital sales systems and the Microsoft Office suite. A Class B driver’s license is also required due to travel involved in the role.
