Role Overview

The Short-Term Disabilities Center of Excellence is seeking a Bilingual Associate Manager to provide leadership to a team of Short-Term Disability Case Managers. Reporting directly to the Manager, this role requires strong expertise in disability management practices, people development, and client relationship management. The Associate Manager will be central to maintaining high service standards while supporting both the organization and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Plan, oversee, and guide the professional growth of team members.
  • Provide technical support, mentoring, and coaching in complex disability management cases.

2. Customer Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage team workflows efficiently to optimize resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance to achieve service and business outcomes.
  • Ensure best practices in disability management are consistently applied.

  • Drive performance improvements across the team.
  • Adapt to fluctuations in workflows and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Support organizational initiatives aligned with digital transformation and inclusivity.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a fully bilingual leader with proven experience in disability management, team leadership, and client-focused service delivery. Strong adaptability, problem-solving skills, and business acumen are essential.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Education: University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in a leadership role with demonstrated success in coaching and developing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Language: Bilingual (French & English, spoken and written) – required.
