About the Opportunity
Emerging Travel Group is hiring a Corporate Travel Operations Specialist to manage complex business-travel arrangements for corporate accounts and VIP travelers through its RateHawk travel platform.
This is a remote position based in Romania. The role combines corporate travel operations, premium customer service, travel consulting, supplier coordination, booking management, and end-to-end support throughout the travel lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate customers and VIP travelers.
- Handle complex business-travel requests through email, phone, chat, and CRM systems.
- Advise travelers and travel managers on flights, hotels, transfers, and premium travel services.
- Book travel through online systems and coordinate offline arrangements directly with global suppliers.
- Work with hotels, destination-management companies, transport providers, rail operators, ferries, cruise companies, and airlines.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service conditions with travel suppliers.
- Manage the complete booking lifecycle, including confirmations, payments, virtual cards, vouchers, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
- Coordinate with Online Support, Finance, Product, Sales, and Account Management teams.
- Resolve operational issues, monitor service levels, and escalate incidents when necessary.
Required Background
Candidates should have experience in corporate or business travel management, premium customer service, a Travel Management Company, Destination Management Company, or another high-touch corporate travel environment.
Strong knowledge of hotel and airline operations and international destination management is also required.
Language Requirements
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) proficiency in both English and Italian is required.
Customer and Supplier Skills
The role requires strong written and verbal communication, confident interaction with demanding corporate customers, and the ability to negotiate effectively with travel suppliers.
Candidates should be highly organized and capable of managing multiple complex travel requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
Technology
Candidates should be comfortable using CRM systems, online booking platforms, and other travel-management technologies.
