Senior Platform Software Engineer

Job Overview

You will lead factory validation and integration efforts across software, firmware, and diagnostics while helping improve factory systems and processes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead factory validation projects from software, firmware, and diagnostics perspectives across multiple locations.
• Drive implementation, integration, and standardization of factory validation solutions.
• Lead the integration and handover of software, firmware, and diagnostics for NVIDIA products.
• Serve as a technical consultant and provide strategic direction and leadership to engineering teams.
• Work with ODMs and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze factory requirements.
• Develop solutions that address business and operational factory requirements.
• Analyze factory processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation including system requirements, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate across teams to design, configure, and implement factory changes while minimizing disruption.
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to verify functionality and alignment with factory requirements.
• Monitor, collect, and analyze data to identify issues and improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Work with vendors and external partners to evaluate, select, and implement new factory systems or software and firmware upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience working as an Integration Engineer in factory environments.
• Strong knowledge of server manageability, server bring-up, and deployment in data centers.
• Understanding of firmware and diagnostics for x86 and ARM servers.
• Experience working with ODMs or OEMs to deliver quality server systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and shell scripting.
• Programming and debugging experience with GPU platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and maintain ownership of assigned technical work.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Hands-on coding capability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on factory integration or hardware bring-up projects.
• Hands-on experience with x86 or ARM system architecture.

Compensation

NVIDIA provides two base salary ranges for this position:

• Level 3: $152,000–$241,500 USD per year.
• Level 4: $184,000–$287,500 USD per year.

The final base salary will depend on factors including location, experience, and compensation for employees in similar positions.

The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
