Role Purpose
This role exists to drive Target’s Core Finance product strategy, modernize financial systems, and deliver solutions that optimize enterprise financial processes. The hire will tackle challenges in SAP-based financial operations while supporting key organizational goals.
Main Duties
- Define and execute the Core Finance product strategy and roadmap
- Lead discovery, design, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Collaborate with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and business partners
- Act as the product voice to stakeholders across Finance and Technology
- Maintain product backlog, prioritize work based on business impact
- Develop business cases and assess value to guide decision-making
- Foster term alignment and cross-functional collaboration to achieve OKRs
- Simplify complex financial and technical processes into actionable solutions
Workday Snapshot
Start the day reviewing the product backlog with engineers, and meet with Finance leaders to align on SAP system priorities. Collaborate with UX on new automation features to deliver strategic updates to executives. End the day by analyzing process improvements to accelerate the financial close cycle.

- Expertise in Finance, Accounting, and SAP systems

Experience and Education
- 6+ years in Finance, Accounting, or SAP system experience
