Senior Enterprise Solution Architect – Federal Data Governance

Collibra is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect to support U.S. federal customers through its Customer Solutions and Services organization. The role combines enterprise architecture, professional services, data governance, cloud integration, technical consulting, and strategic customer engagement.

You will work directly with federal agencies across different stages of their data maturity journey, helping them design and implement data governance strategies while supporting adoption, modernization initiatives, compliance requirements, and long-term program success.

The Senior Enterprise Solution Architect will lead federal customer engagements, advise agencies on data governance and architecture, guide technical implementations, and work across Collibra teams to support adoption, expansion, and measurable customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead federal customer engagements using Collibra’s delivery models, engagement processes, methodologies, and artifacts.
  • Deliver consulting services aligned with applicable government regulations and security standards, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud requirements.
  • Develop tailored data governance strategies for federal agencies that support knowledge transfer and measurable mission and business outcomes.
  • Work across Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executive teams to align delivery with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Collibra’s footprint within federal agencies by connecting product capabilities with modernization efforts, agency mandates, and compliance requirements.
  • Support federal client success, long-term program engagement, and repeatable professional services delivery.
  • Contribute to growth of Collibra’s public-sector services and licensing business through strategic planning, customer advocacy, and account expansion.
  • Lead blueprinting, design workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to identify solutions to data challenges while maintaining data governance and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies.
  • Experience in data governance, data management, or data quality.
  • Understanding of major PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, and integration platforms commonly used by federal agencies.
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, network-based API integration using REST/JSON, and deployment automation.
  • Linux command-line proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and platform technologies.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
  • Experience working with enterprise security technologies such as LDAP or Kerberos.
  • Hands-on experience with data quality, data pipelines, data orchestration, and/or job-control tools.
  • Knowledge of at least two or three areas including data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and business rules management.
  • Experience using APIs through Java, Python, or a similar scripting language for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration.
  • Ability to develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Experience with Collibra or comparable technologies.

Within the third month: Take ownership of assigned federal customer engagements, deliver consulting services according to Collibra’s delivery models and federal compliance standards, and begin identifying opportunities connected to agency modernization and data governance priorities.

Within the sixth month: Operate as a trusted advisor to federal agency stakeholders, meet or exceed utilization targets, contribute to at least one account expansion, and bring repeatable delivery practices or artifacts back to the Public Sector professional services team.

Compensation

The standard base salary range for this position is $152,000–$190,000 USD per year. Salary offers are determined using factors including experience, skills, and location.
