As a Customer Relations Officer, you will be the first point of contact for many customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and a friendly approach. You will handle a variety of service functions, resolve inquiries, and take ownership of customer complaints until a satisfactory resolution is reached.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing competent, unbiased, and timely financial services to exceed customer expectations.
- Taking ownership of customer complaints and ensuring their prompt resolution.
- Contributing to branch goals by being a proactive team player.
- Supporting and coaching new team members.
- Identifying and providing feedback for improvements in products, services, and processes.
- Accurately processing service requests within specified timelines and adhering to all guidelines.
- Potentially providing on-the-job training to new staff.
- Monitoring individual and team performance and providing feedback.
- Preparing reports and statistics as required.
- Adhering to branch processes and reporting any deviations.
- Undertaking other duties as required and supporting other areas within the department.
- Participating in department meetings and suggesting improvements.
- Actively selling and cross-selling retail banking products to achieve targets.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Commerce.
- 2-3 years of banking experience or experience in another service-oriented industry.
- Thorough knowledge of retail banking products, services, policies, and processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
