The “Reporting Actuary” position focuses on:

  • Financial Reporting: Delivering accurate reserve and income statements for both local and international (IFRS 17) standards.
  • Actuarial Judgement: Applying expertise to complex valuation assumptions.
  • Regional Consolidation: Reviewing and communicating results for the entire CE region.
  • Portfolio Management: Participating in management activities like recaptures and treaty changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with Finance, Products, and Client Markets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Presenting results to internal parties.
  • Team Support: Coordinating and assisting junior team members.

Who Should Apply?

Swiss Re is looking for individuals with:

  • Actuarial qualification progress (3+ years L&H re/insurance experience preferred).
  • Understanding of policy liability calculation and IFRS 17.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Power BI and database knowledge a plus).
  • Excellent English communication skills.
