This pivotal role within the 4th Medical Group, 4th Medical Operations Squadron, places the Nurse Practitioner at the forefront of providing comprehensive primary, preventative, and therapeutic healthcare services to assigned patients. The position demands a healthcare provider who can utilize critical judgment to perform thorough health assessments, deliver differential diagnoses, and prescribe both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive physical assessments, including patient history.
- Independently diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses.
- Performing baby exams, pre-employment physicals, and sports physicals.
- Administering pre- and post-deployment assessments for active duty personnel.
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiological tests.
- Performing minor surgical procedures.
- Prescribing and monitoring pain management regimens.
- Educating patients and family members on health maintenance.

Qualifications:
