About the Team and Role
The Salesforce Competency Center department at Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of products and services, collaborating closely with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
As a Scrum Master / Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, utilizing your expertise in both project management and Agile methodologies. You will guide and mentor project teams, facilitate Scrum events, remove impediments, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain project plans and documentation
- Coordinate project activities, report status, and ensure project stability
- Plan priorities across multiple projects
- Manage and lead project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and mentor project team members
- Define and implement effective communication mechanisms
- Track project milestones and adjust plans and resources as needed
- Manage and monitor Scrum processes
- Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values
- Facilitate Scrum events, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative and problem-solving environment
- Assist with internal and external communication, promoting transparency and information sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CaPM) or comparable PM certification (desired)
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master in a software development environment
- 7+ years of related IT experience
- Proven experience in Scrum Management and planning
- Strong matrix management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with MS Project and JIRA/Confluence (a plus)
- General knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and compete for resources effectively
