Job Summary:
The Library of Congress is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their National Library Services for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of braille products and services, including embossed and electronic braille books and periodicals. Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply braille rules and codes.
- Evaluate technical requirements and human factor elements for braille production.
- Monitor quality assurance for contracts with commercial companies, network libraries, and multi-state centers.
