Washington, D.C. – The Secretary of the Senate is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Secure Facilities Manager to join their Security team. This critical role focuses on ensuring the safety and security of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) within the Senate, adhering to strict compliance standards set by the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.
Responsibilities Include:
- SCIF Management: Inspecting, updating, and overseeing the construction of SCIFs to maintain ICD 705 compliance.
- Security Liaison: Acting as the primary contact between the Senate and the accrediting authority for SCIFs.
- Project Management: Managing SCIF construction projects, collaborating with Senate Security Managers and officials to implement necessary facility upgrades.
- Risk Mitigation: Staying informed about technical security threats and developing strategies to counter them.
- Technical Security: Assisting with technical security measures and supporting Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) activities.
- Classified Network Support: Maintaining the Office’s classified local area network (LAN) and supporting secure communications systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum two years of direct experience in SCIF accreditation and/or management, with a background in physical, technical, and communications security.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required, TS/SCI preferred.
- Knowledge: Must be proficient in ICD 705 standards and have experience conducting SCIF inspections and assessments.
Benefits:
- Salary: $104,227 – $161,549 per year.
