Who We Are Looking For:

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management Sciences, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, preferably with a combination of academia, international donor agencies, research institutes, and think tanks.
- Proven entrepreneurial mindset and experience in successfully commercializing ideas, products, and services, particularly in the areas of languages, social sciences, and computer sciences.
- Strong and established connections with donor agencies, government entities, businesses, entrepreneurs, national/international universities, and social communities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a successful track record in managing and growing non-profit organizations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance research activities at NUML by strategically aligning faculty research areas with industry opportunities.
- Develop and implement research policies and priorities.
- Foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the university community.
- Identify and secure research funding from national and international sources.
- Oversee the commercialization of research outputs, including patents, copyrights, and spin-off companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within academia, industry, government, and the broader community.
- Manage and mentor a team of research professionals.
