Washington, D.C. – The Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK), a part of the prestigious Library of Congress, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer (GS-09) to join their Contracts and Grants Directorate. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary range of $69,923 to $90,898 per year.
In this crucial role, the Administrative Officer will be responsible for a wide array of tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the Directorate. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining various administrative systems and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Managing travel arrangements and other staff-related requirements for the Directorate.
- Drafting professional correspondence, reports, and memoranda on administrative matters.
- Providing valuable advice and guidance to staff on administrative inquiries and situations.
- Supporting the organizational planning process by preparing charts, data, and reports.
- Handling space management duties, including conducting analyses and coordinating office moves and improvements.

- Serving as a liaison with the Library of Congress budget office.
- Addressing routine human resources issues, coordinating personnel actions, and assisting with various HR administrative activities.
- Providing support in the procurement process by advising staff on documentation requirements.
Qualifications:

- Strong ability to perform administrative management functions, encompassing human resources, budgeting/finance, and contracting/procurement.
- Proven ability to handle financial activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
