About the Opportunity

Cribl is hiring an Analytics Business Partner to help the company adapt its data, definitions, reporting, and operating models as the business grows through acquisitions, new products, and go-to-market changes.

This is a remote position within the United States. The role sits within Cribl’s broader Business Operations organization and works horizontally across Data & Analytics, Finance, Product, GTM, Strategy & Operations, and other business functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own solutions for non-routine business events that no longer fit existing reporting, data models, systems, or operating processes.
  • Act as the directly responsible individual for coordinating cross-functional teams and driving solutions through completion.
  • Lead the data and reporting integration of acquired companies, products, and customers following M&A activity.
  • Ensure new product launches can be measured accurately through appropriate definitions, models, and reporting.
  • Coordinate work across Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and Data Governance teams.
  • Establish and run a Business Intelligence Council to align leaders on metrics, attributes, hierarchies, and data priorities.
  • Maintain a strong working understanding of GTM, Finance, Product, and related functions.
  • Identify whether reporting problems originate in data models, business systems, processes, ownership gaps, or underlying definitions.
  • Translate complex analytical issues into clear recommendations for both executives and operational teams.

Required Experience

Candidates need at least eight years of experience across management consulting, in-house strategy, business operations, business analytics, or related functions.

The role requires experience operating across unfamiliar business functions and resolving ambiguous, cross-functional problems.

Business and Analytics Skills

Candidates should be fluent across GTM, Finance, Product, and other business functions and capable of reconciling differences in definitions, metrics, and operating models.

Working SQL knowledge is required, including the ability to join tables, write common table expressions, and work at the correct aggregation grain. Hands-on querying and dashboard development are not the primary focus of the role.

M&A and Product Launch Experience

First-hand experience ensuring that business data and reporting remain accurate following an acquisition or new product launch is required.

Experience with post-close M&A integration, new product introduction, or go-to-market model changes is considered a plus.

Preferred Background

Experience at late-stage B2B SaaS companies or early public B2B SaaS companies is considered beneficial.

Remote Work

This position is remote within the United States. Because Cribl operates across multiple time zones, employees may occasionally need to perform duties outside their standard working hours.

Compensation

The published base salary range is $190,000 to $255,000 USD per year.

For non-sales roles, employees are eligible to participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program. Benefits and equity may also be provided separately.

About Cribl
