Partner Solutions Engineer

Hex Technologies is hiring a Partner Solutions Engineer to help build and scale the technical side of its partner ecosystem. This position can be performed remotely within the United States, with San Francisco and New York City also offered as location options.

This is a ground-floor opportunity within Hex’s partnerships organization. The Partner Solutions Engineer will own technical enablement across system integrator and consulting partners, helping those organizations independently demonstrate, implement, and deliver solutions using Hex.

You will design and own the technical enablement curriculum for Hex’s partner ecosystem, including certification programs, hands-on workshops, sandbox environments, and reusable reference materials. You will also build and maintain a partner-facing demonstration library so partner teams can confidently demonstrate Hex without relying on Hex employees for every engagement.

Responsibilities include running technical onboarding for new partners, leading joint solutioning sessions and architecture reviews, and delivering recurring live and recorded training, workshops, and office hours.

For strategic or technically complex opportunities, you will serve as the technical point of contact for key partners. This includes supporting proofs of value, solution architecture, and technical objection handling.

You will develop technical collateral such as solution briefs, implementation guides, best-practice documentation, and demonstration scripts. Insights from partner engagements will also be communicated to Product and Engineering to identify integration or product-capability gaps affecting partner-led implementations.

The position measures partner enablement through outcomes such as completed certifications, demo independence, time to first deal, and contribution to partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.

Candidates need 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture. Experience enabling channel partners, systems integrators, or consulting organizations is particularly relevant.

Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL and Python is required, along with the ability to build and demonstrate end-to-end analytics workflows in notebook-style environments.

Candidates should have experience developing training curricula or enablement programs from the ground up, strong live presentation and demonstration skills, and working knowledge of the modern data stack. Relevant technologies include Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and Fivetran.

The role also requires experience building relationships with partner practice leaders, solution architects, and delivery teams, together with a high degree of ownership and comfort creating a new partner-enablement program rather than maintaining an established one.

This remote position requires approximately 25–30% travel for partner enablement sessions, workshops, and field events.

The published on-target earnings (OTE) range is $177,000–$236,500 USD. Hex also offers equity, health benefits, and flexible paid time off.
