Tines is hiring a Lead Customer Success Manager – West to own strategic post-sales relationships, retention, value realization, and growth across a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers. This is a remote U.S. position that must be based in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.
The Lead Customer Success Manager will serve as a trusted strategic advisor for complex enterprise accounts, connecting customers’ technical deployments with executive-level business objectives. You will work closely with Account Executives, Strategic Account Managers, Forward-Deployed Engineers, Solutions Architects, Product leaders, and other technical stakeholders to ensure customers realize measurable value from Tines.
You will be accountable for customer health, net retention, and long-term strategic alignment across your portfolio. Responsibilities include developing account strategies, identifying risks, improving time-to-value, and helping customers connect Tines’ intelligent workflow, AI, automation, and integration capabilities to their most important business priorities.
Commercial partnership is an important part of the position. You will work alongside Sales to identify expansion opportunities, develop account plans, support renewals and upsells, and position additional capabilities based on each customer’s technical roadmap and demonstrated value.
The role requires close collaboration with Forward-Deployed Engineers and other technical teams. You will help translate technical achievements and deployments into measurable commercial and operational outcomes while removing friction from complex customer implementations.
Executive engagement is another core responsibility. You will develop relationships with stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, engineering leaders, and product executives. You will also lead executive and quarterly business reviews focused on ROI, business impact, strategic priorities, and long-term growth rather than simply reporting product usage.
As a senior individual contributor and Customer Success leader, you will operate with significant autonomy and help develop scalable Customer Success playbooks, improve executive-engagement standards, and establish practices that can be adopted by the wider organization.
Candidates need 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Customer Success, Account Management, or Technical Account Management working with complex, high-ARR enterprise platforms.
The position requires demonstrated experience partnering with Sales on renewals, upsells, and account expansion; working with Forward-Deployed Engineers, Solutions Architects, and product-delivery teams; managing complex multi-stakeholder environments; and advising C-level executives on technology strategy and operational efficiency.
Experience within high-tech industries such as cloud-native technology, hardware/software platforms, or AI/ML is advantageous.
The stated Target Annual Earnings are $190,000–$220,000 USD OTE, consisting of salary plus commission.
Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Tines states that it cannot sponsor or take over employment-visa sponsorship for this opportunity.
Benefits include startup equity, retirement-plan matching, healthcare, 25 days of annual leave, additional company holidays, parental leave, home-office setup, phone and home-internet allowances, and flexibility in how and where employees work.
