Product Designer

About the Opportunity

Thatch is hiring a Product Designer to help create end-to-end experiences across its healthcare benefits platform for businesses, employees, and brokers.

This is a remote position within the United States. The role spans UX strategy, product design, design systems, complex user workflows, and brand expression.

What You’ll Do

• Shape product experiences from early concept through production.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, Product, Sales, Operations, and company leadership.
• Design simple, trustworthy experiences for complex healthcare and benefits workflows.
• Develop and maintain UI components, design-system standards, and brand assets.
• Create design documentation and internal guidelines.
• Improve design standards, tooling, and processes as the company grows.
• Own meaningful parts of the design process, from UX strategy through detailed product execution.

Required Experience

Candidates need at least four years of experience in product design roles.

The role requires strong fundamental design judgment, user-centered thinking, and experience solving complex problems in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Technical and Industry Experience

Ability to read or write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered valuable.

Experience helping scale a high-growth technology company and familiarity with healthcare, finance, or employee benefits are also preferred.

Remote Work

This position is remote within the United States.

Compensation

The published compensation range is $160,000 to $192,000 USD per year.
