This is a unique opportunity for an experienced scientific editor to shape the future of microbiology research.
Cell Host & Microbe is a leading journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research in microbiology, virology, and parasitology. Launched in 2007, the journal has a strong reputation for publishing high-impact research that advances the field.
The Editor-in-Chief will be responsible for all aspects of the journal’s editorial strategy and operations. This includes:
- Managing a global team of editors
- Overseeing the peer review process
- Commissioning and editing content
- Developing and implementing the journal’s strategic direction
- Representing the journal at conferences and other events
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD in microbiology or a related field
- Significant editorial experience at a leading scientific journal
- A strong track record of research in microbiology
