About the Role:

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will oversee a team of engineers, developers, and business analysts responsible for building tools and processes that support the daily operations of Royal Caribbean’s Global Contact Centers. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving technological advancements and ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions, including web tools, ETLs, data transformations, reporting, and more.
  • Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, while also contributing to the development of coding standards and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to standards and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to database platforms, applications, and services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in both back-end and front-end development, with a strong understanding of REST API architecture.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Data Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record as a Software Developer
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
  • Experience with Databricks is a plus
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, and Perl
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team-oriented approach and analytical mindset
