About the Opportunity
OnTheGoSystems is hiring a Senior Content Editor to take ownership of content quality, editorial direction, and content performance across products including WPML, Toolset, and Private Translation Cloud.
This is a fully remote role for candidates who can work within European, Middle Eastern, or African working hours.
What You’ll Do
- Set content strategy and editorial direction based on audience needs and business goals.
- Review, edit, and improve content for clarity, accuracy, usefulness, engagement, and performance.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to create and refine high-quality content efficiently.
- Track content performance and use data to understand what is working and what should change.
- Run content experiments across formats, approaches, and topics.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand products, customers, and business priorities.
- Help maintain strong editorial standards across a small team of skilled writers.
Required Background
Candidates should have experience managing or guiding small teams of skilled writers and maintaining high editorial standards.
Strong editing and copywriting skills are required, together with the ability to recognize what makes content effective and how to improve it.
AI and Content Performance
OnTheGoSystems expects candidates to use AI effectively for content creation and editing while applying strong human editorial judgment.
The role also requires comfort with metrics and accountability for content performance.
Technical Content Experience
Experience with technology, software, SaaS, or technical content is required.
