Arrowquay Privacy Policy

Arrowquay privacy policy

Updated 28 October 2026. Provided by WorkinVirtual for Arrowquay: Daily Escape, Android package com.workinvirtual.arrowquay.

Which version are you using?

Versions 1.0 and 1.0.1 have no advertising SDK, account, analytics, purchases or network permission. Their game data stays on the device. Version 1.1 introduces the optional adult advertising described below. Availability of an update depends on Google Play review and rollout.

Local game data

Progress, puzzle moves, completion records, hints, earned route scans, themes, sound and haptic preferences, age range and advertising choice are stored on your device. No date of birth or account is required. WorkinVirtual operates no game-progress server and includes no separate analytics service. Android app backup is disabled.

Children and unknown ages

The game includes a neutral age-range choice. Advertising is not requested for players who select an age under 18 or prefer not to state an age. Those players can use the tutorial, puzzles, free hints, Undo and themes without advertising. We do not initialise the advertising or consent-request flow for these players. The age range is stored locally and is not sent to WorkinVirtual.

Optional advertising for adults in version 1.1

Players who select 18 or older can choose to enable advertising. It is off by default. Google AdMob supplies non-personalised ads after the applicable Google User Messaging Platform privacy checks. If the privacy check fails, ads stay unavailable. Advertising-ID and Android AdServices advertising-ID, attribution and topics permissions are removed from this app.

When an adult enables advertising, Google’s advertising and consent services may collect and share an IP address, which can indicate approximate location; ad and app interactions; diagnostics such as crash and performance information; and SDK-generated device or app identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. Removing advertising-ID permission does not eliminate every SDK identifier. SDK transmissions use encrypted connections.

Rewarded ads are optional and clearly labelled. Completing one can earn three route scans. Free hints and Undo remain available. Interstitial ads are restricted to transitions between completed practice levels, after an initial grace period, with limits on time and number of levels between ads. No ad is shown on launch, resume, in the tutorial or in the middle of solving a puzzle. Ad availability and duration depend on Google.

Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information. Regional consent choices may further restrict processing. Where required, a Privacy choices control is available in the app.

Your controls and deletion

Settings → Age & advertising choices lets you change the locally stored age range and turn advertising off. Turning it off stops future app-initiated ad requests and clears cached ads. It does not undo information already processed by Google. Use Google’s privacy controls for information held by Google. Reset saved progress, clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes local game records and preferences. WorkinVirtual does not hold a remote copy of these records.

Sharing results

Choosing Share opens Android’s share sheet with puzzle date, completion status, arrows, hints and longest-current score. Nothing is posted or sent automatically. The receiving app handles the result under its own policy.
