Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer – JavaScript will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that enhance user experiences. This role emphasizes collaboration with UX/UI and backend teams, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to frontend architecture decisions to ensure long-term maintainability and performance.
Key Areas of Impact
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers to deliver visually consistent and seamless interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, focusing on load times, responsiveness, and overall UX.
- Implement state management solutions using Redux, Redux Toolkit, or similar frameworks.
- Partner with backend engineers to ensure smooth data integration and cohesive full-stack workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain application stability.
- Contribute to frontend architecture planning, ensuring scalability and maintainability in long-term projects.
- Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior developers and support team, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
Ideal Candidate Requirement
The ideal candidate is a Senior Frontend Developer with at least 8 years of experience in IT and deep expertise in React and TypeScript. They should possess strong technical proficiency, a focus on UX, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while guiding architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of state management patterns (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Reselect, etc.).
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience contributing to large-scale, long-term frontend projects.
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions, and mentor others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .NET environments (optional).
- Familiarity with Telerik controls or other enterprise UI frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-based environments and deployment workflows.
