Position Overview
The Product Sample Specialist in the Mobile Division ensures the availability and readiness of over 3,000 devices across the Benelux region. This role involves managing sample flows, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating processes that support product launches, testing, events, and marketing activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This position offers a hybrid work setup, combining office presence for hands-on product access with remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Management and Technical Coordination
- Manage approval samples following company policies.
- Register samples and approvals in SAP and KNOX systems.
- Monitor stock levels, movements, and lifecycle status.
- Conduct stock counts and assist in audits.
- Ensure technical and software readiness of devices.
- Execute technical tests and validate product functionality.
Support Across the Product Lifecycle
- Align country-specific software and field testing requirements.
- Identify, document, and report technical issues.
- Prepare samples for events, retail displays, and marketing campaigns.
- Troubleshoot live demo devices and provide technical support.
- Inspect new products and perform rework requested by the supply chain.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Serve as the primary contact for sample coordination in the Benelux region.
- Work closely with the technical team in the Netherlands and colleagues in Belgium.
- Support operations from Schiphol, with travel to Belgium approximately four times per year.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. They are proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working across international processes.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical or operational role.
- Hands-on familiarity with Samsung IMD products, including phones, tablets, wearables, and accessories.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- High technical affinity and practical experience with testing and product management.
