Job Overview
This position is a full-time Account Manager role designed to strengthen Markem-Imaje’s market presence in Louisiana and surrounding regions. The chosen candidate will be expected to drive growth, manage client portfolios, and build lasting business relationships.
Key Focus Areas
1. Driving Sales Growth
The Account Manager will expand market share by implementing a proven sales methodology, exceeding revenue targets, and increasing the installed base across the assigned territory.
2. Client Relationship Management
The role involves managing existing accounts with a consultative selling approach, ensuring client satisfaction, and unlocking after-sales opportunities.
3. Strategic Market Expansion
Prospecting and engaging with new clients will be central to building sustainable pipelines and forecasting revenue with accuracy.
4. Business Operations & Reporting
Strong reporting and forecasting capabilities are essential, including effective CRM use and territory planning to meet corporate objectives.
5. Product & Solution Advocacy
The Account Manager will champion the full product and service portfolio, demonstrating technical aptitude and the ability to position Markem-Imaje as a trusted partner.
Candidate Profile
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, ideally in industrial or packaging sectors.
- Proven ability to manage territories and pipelines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated record of success in technical sales.
- Ability to thrive independently in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
