Duty Locations

Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate supports passenger transportation operations by advising travelers on their entitlements and responsibilities. In addition, the role involves identifying passport requirements or security clearances needed for processing travel documentation. The position also requires reconciling billing statements and resolving discrepancies related to carrier services.

Eligibility and Conditions of Employment

Professional Qualifications
GS 6 Level
Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level. This includes resolving travel and passport issues, monitoring compliance with travel contracts, researching financial discrepancies, arranging transportation services through automated systems, and reviewing travel documents for accuracy.
GS 5 Level
Applicants must show one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level. Relevant expertise includes assisting customers with travel documentation, arranging transportation services, and reviewing itineraries for completeness.
GS 4 Level
Applicants must possess 1 year of general clerical or office experience demonstrating the ability to acquire job-related knowledge and skills.
Volunteer and unpaid experience may be considered if it demonstrates relevant competencies and transferable skills.
Education Substitution
Education may substitute for experience at specific grade levels. The GS 5 qualification may be met through four academic years of education beyond high school, while the GS 4 qualification may be met through two academic years beyond high school. Applicants qualifying through education must submit official transcripts.
