Role Snapshot
The Licensed Inbound Sales Center Insurance Agent (Personal Lines) is crucial in helping individuals secure the right auto and home insurance coverage. The role demands confidence, empathy, and a solution-driven mindset to meet client needs while achieving business goals.
Primary Objectives:
- Provide personalized insurance solutions for auto and home coverage.
- Evaluate risks and offer accurate policy recommendations.
- Confidently close sales while handling objections professionally.
- Maintain licensing compliance across multiple states.
Work Environment & Schedule
This role offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility:
- Candidates near Hartford, CT, or San Antonio, TX offices will work in the office three days per week (Tue–Thu).
- Fully remote candidates can work from any approved state, with occasional in-office visits based on business needs.
Training Details:
- Duration: 12 weeks (Jan 26 – Apr 17, 2026)
- Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM–6 PM (Eastern Time)
- Note: No time off permitted during training.
Post-Training Schedule:
- Mon–Fri, 11:30 AM–8 PM (local time)
- Every other Sunday, 9:30 AM–6 PM (Eastern) — Thursday off during that week
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Performance Rewards: Average monthly bonuses $500+, top performers earn over $2000
- Shift Differentials: Up to 10% increase for post-training shifts
- Bilingual Incentive: Additional differential for Spanish-English certified agents
- Total Pay Range: $42,800 – $64,200 annually, depending on experience and performance

Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are resilient communicators who thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. They understand the nuances of customer service and have the confidence to turn conversations into conversions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent sales experience, preferably in insurance, banking, or retail.
- Proven success in inbound sales or customer relationship roles.
- Strong negotiation, listening, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to manage 30–40 inbound calls daily with attention to detail.
- Must maintain required Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license (or obtain before hire).
- Self-disciplined and reliable with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
Technical Requirements:
- Stable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).
- Hard-wired connection to Hartford-issued router/computer.
- Distraction-free home workspace for client-facing calls.
Preferred:
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish-English)
- Experience with CRM or insurance sales platforms
