Role Overview

Atlas Copco is seeking a Regional Business Controller for its newly established region, North and Central Europe.
This leadership role is responsible for guiding sustainable and profitable growth across the region. Working closely with the Regional General Manager and leadership team, the Regional Business Controller provides financial insights, ensures compliance, drives operational efficiency, and fosters a culture of development and accountability.

The position sits at the intersection of financial strategy, organizational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration—directly impacting the company’s growth trajectory and long-term success.

Financial Stewardship & Governance

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (OTIF).
  • Oversee compliance with global and local financial standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

  • Advise leadership on financial performance improvement and cost optimization.

Strategic Planning & Business Execution

  • Align regional financial strategy with the company vision and Specialty Rental’s purpose.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

  • Champion the SPARK program for ERP transformation and operational efficiency.
  • Identify process gaps and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation and data-driven decision-making across departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, or similar discipline.

Experience

  • 5+ years in financial leadership roles.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven success in multinational or matrix organizations.
  • Preferred: Experience in equipment rental, manufacturing, or M&A analysis.
