Role and Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of Caterpillar’s production facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment.
- Responding to service requests and work orders.
- Performing general building maintenance.
- Conducting basic electrical preventive maintenance.
- Operating and maintaining production equipment.
- Lubricating equipment and maintaining lubrication schedules.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related hands-on maintenance experience, or a relevant certification/degree.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic electronics.
- Ability to lift 35lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
