Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager, Regulatory Change Management will play a pivotal role in ensuring CBD’s compliance with regulations set by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). This position demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment and a proven ability to manage complex compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end regulatory change process, including the tracking and implementation of new and amended regulations.
- Conduct gap assessments and identify regulatory developments and industry trends.
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory submissions.
- Produce management information reports and metrics on regulatory notices and inquiries.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Facilitate internal communication of key regulatory developments.
- Ensure that all regulatory submissions are accurate, submitted within the required timelines and in conformance with appropriate regulations and guidelines.
- Work closely with other departments such as IT, Operations, and Compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
CBD is seeking a highly motivated professional with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the banking/financial services sector, with 3 years in a regulatory compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of CBUAE and SCA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
