Perth, Australia – Qantas Airways is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join its subsidiary, Network Aviation, based in Perth. This exciting opportunity within the Customer Delivery and Transformation team will play a crucial role in driving growth and improvement across Network Aviation’s operations.
Network Aviation, a wholly-owned part of the Qantas Group, specializes in providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services, primarily supporting the mining industry, regional travel, freight, and corporate charters.
As a Business Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs and opportunities, optimizing processes and systems, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to implement strategic solutions. The role involves developing key performance indicators, generating insightful reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing business constraints and opportunities to recommend process and system improvements.
- Developing reporting mechanisms to track the progress of transformation initiatives.
- Conducting ongoing business reviews and focusing on customer and operational metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support improvement projects.
- Turning business strategies into actionable plans.
- Engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years of experience in an analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proven track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in complex operational environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Power BI is a significant advantage.
