Position Overview
Novo Nordisk offers an alternance opportunity within the support team of the Quality Control department at its Chartres production site. This program provides a practical learning environment where the candidate will strengthen technical knowledge while gaining insight into industrial pharmaceutical operations.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the department leadership team and support initiatives designed to enhance operational performance. Core Responsibilities
Performance Monitoring and Process Optimization
The candidate will support the management team in improving the monitoring of departmental performance. This includes analyzing operational indicators related to quality, cost control, and delivery timelines to enhance overall efficiency.
Development of Performance Indicators
The role involves establishing relevant performance indicators while designing clear visual tools that allow teams to track results and identify improvement opportunities.
Problem Resolution and Data Analysis
Active participation in problem-solving activities is an important part of the role. The candidate will conduct data analysis to support improvement initiatives and provide insights to inform departmental decision-making.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
The selected participant will identify opportunities for operational or technical improvements. Once identified, proposed solutions will be developed and implemented in collaboration with departmental teams.
Knowledge Sharing and Practice Standardization
The position also includes facilitating working sessions and workshops that encourage collaboration between teams. These sessions aim to share best practices and standardize operational procedures across the department’s services.
The Quality Control Department
The Quality Control department ensures that pharmaceutical and biological products comply with strict safety and quality standards. Through analytical testing and systematic inspection throughout the production process, the department safeguards product reliability and patient safety.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of Quality Control and join a multidisciplinary team composed of specialists in microbiology, physicochemistry, analytical development and control, and departmental support functions.
Best Candidate Profile
The position suits a student currently pursuing a Master’s level engineering degree with a specialization in continuous improvement or lean management.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in process improvement and operational efficiency. Familiarity with improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma will strengthen the application.
Experience in an analytical laboratory would be an additional advantage. However, the most important qualities include adaptability, a collaborative mindset, and strong analytical reasoning.
The candidate should feel comfortable presenting ideas, proposing solutions, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders across the organization. Since the role operates within an international corporate environment, proficiency in English is essential both in written and spoken communication.
