The Role
As a System Engineer, you will be part of a team building services for managing virtual machines, integrating with disk management, virtual networking, and InfiniBand network systems. You’ll also work on the Compute Managed Bare-Metal service, providing users with dedicated GPU servers.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong Linux and system-level understanding.
- Knowledge of POSIX, sysfs, system calls, and file systems.
- Familiarity with server architecture, PCIe devices, NICs, and kernel drivers.
- Experience (or interest) in working with DPU, GPU, and ARM architectures.
- Proficiency in Go, C, or C++, with a willingness to learn other languages.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, LXC, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with QEMU/KVM (a plus).
