West Valley City, UT (or Remote) – Motorola Solutions is seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer Intern to join their Command Central Software Enterprise team for Summer 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of CommandCentral Records Management System (CC RMS), a mission-critical software solution used by public safety agencies worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
As a full-stack software developer intern, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including:
- Front-End Development: Utilizing Angular, Typescript, and Javascript to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Back-End Development: Designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices using Node.js or .Net.
- Database Management: Working with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Cloud Technologies: Gaining experience with cloud DevOps pipelines, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- Agile Practices: Collaborating with a team in an agile environment, participating in sprints, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality software.
What You’ll Bring:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with an anticipated graduation date on or after December 1, 2025.
- Working knowledge of Angular/Typescript/Javascript or other front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Node.js, and .Net Framework.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong interest in cloud computing, microservices, and containerization.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of microservices-based architecture and containerization.
- Familiarity with cloud-based DevOps practices.
