Technical Leadership Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Technical Lead to architect and manage our enterprise Salesforce release management ecosystem. This senior role focuses on optimizing deployment pipelines, automating release processes, and ensuring seamless code delivery across complex Salesforce environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Salesforce DevOps methodologies while leading the evolution of our CI/CD infrastructure and release management practices.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Release Management Leadership:

  • Oversee complete release management lifecycle for first and second-generation managed packages

  • Architect and implement automated deployment processes across development environments

  • Resolve deployment conflicts and validation errors through systematic troubleshooting

  • Maintain robust release management protocols adhering to Salesforce best practices

CI/CD Pipeline Architecture:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines from initial configuration through production deployment

  • Establish and maintain development, testing, and production environments

  • Develop long-term roadmaps for process optimization and performance enhancement

  • Ensure consistent, reliable code delivery throughout development lifecycles

Version Control & Collaboration:

  • Implement advanced branching strategies using Git-based version control systems

  • Maintain organized repository structures supporting parallel development streams

  • Coordinate with development teams to resolve conflicts and streamline change promotion

  • Establish standards for code management and collaborative development workflows

Technical Operations & Support:

  • Lead post-deployment activities including documentation and knowledge transfer

  • Manage secure environment configurations for development, QA, and user acceptance testing

  • Serve as primary technical contact for release planning and emergency change coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deployment success and system stability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 6+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience

  • 4+ years specializing in Salesforce DevOps and release management

  • Expertise in branching strategies, version control, and pipeline automation

  • Proficiency with orchestration tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Copado, Cumulus)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce configuration and user management

  • Experience resolving complex code deployment conflicts and versioning issues

  • Strong background in enterprise CI/CD pipeline implementation

Technical Environment

  • Platforms: Salesforce, Managed Packages, CI/CD Pipelines

  • Tools: Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Copado, Cumulus

  • Methodologies: DevOps, Agile, Release Management

  • Technologies: Git, Groovy, JavaScript, Salesforce Configuration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Administrator, or DevOps-focused)

  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Groovy or JavaScript

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
