The Role: Scrum Master
As a Scrum Master, you will be the catalyst for our Agile teams’ efficiency and morale. You will guide, coach, and facilitate the Scrum process, ensuring our teams can deliver exceptional value iteratively and effectively. Your primary focus will be on creating a transparent, collaborative, and high-performing environment where self-organization and innovation can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure they are productive, time-boxed, and focused.

  • Act as a servant leader, coaching the development team and product owner on Scrum theory, practices, and rules to promote self-organization and cross-functionality.

  • Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team’s progress, escalating when necessary.

  • Foster a strong culture of open communication, transparency, and trust within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Drive the team’s commitment to continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and helping implement actionable changes to processes and workflows.

  • Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions, allowing them to focus on their Sprint goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a dedicated Scrum Master for software development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Active Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance or equivalent (PSM I/II).

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and principles, with the ability to coach others.

  • Strong situational awareness and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex project dynamics.

  • Experience working effectively with distributed/remote teams in a contractor capacity.

  • A proactive, team-first attitude with a passion for helping teams reach their full potential.
