We are looking for friendly, tech-savvy individuals to join our network as Remote Customer Service Representatives in an independent contractor role. In this position, you will handle primarily inbound phone calls (and possibly chat/email) for various client programs, providing outstanding service and resolving customer inquiries. Your Role: Deliver Outstanding Customer Support from Home

As an independent contractor with Omni, you will be the voice and first point of contact for our clients’ customers, handling a variety of service and support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and empathetic customer service primarily via inbound phone calls, with potential for chat and email support.

  • Efficiently resolve customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide accurate information in line with client-specific guidelines.

  • Maintain a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.

  • Utilize technology and multiple software applications to manage customer accounts and document interactions.

  • Adhere to scheduled hours and client performance standards to ensure quality service delivery.

Who You Are (Ideal Contractor Profile):

  • Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Has a proven track record in customer service with a strong ability to solve problems and pay close attention to detail.

  • Is self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Tech-proficient, comfortable using computers, various software, and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

  • Able to maintain a quiet, dedicated, and professional home workspace free from background noise.

  • Meets all strict technology and internet requirements (see below).

Mandatory Technology & Workspace Requirements:

  • Computer: A personal computer (desktop/laptop) with a minimum of 8GB RAM. Tablets, iPads, Chromebooks, or Amazon Fire devices are NOT permitted.

  • Operating System: Windows 11 is required (some clients may accept AppleOS).

  • Internet: High-speed, wired internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload. Mobile hotspots, satellite internet (e.g., Starlink), and cellular home internet are NOT supported.

  • Peripherals: A wired USB headset with microphone and a smartphone for authentication.

  • Location: Applicants must reside in the United States. Contracting is NOT available for residents of: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul), New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, or Flagstaff/Tucson, Arizona.

Contract & Compensation Details:

  • This is an Independent Contractor position. You are not an employee of Omni Interactions. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and do not receive employee benefits.

  • Hourly rates range from $14 to $20, depending on the specific client program. Additional incentive opportunities may be available.

  • Flexible scheduling within client hours of operation, with most hours available on weekdays during daytime.
