Leadership Opportunity: Financial Operations Executive
We’re seeking an accomplished Controller to lead our global finance operations during a period of significant international expansion. This executive role oversees accounting, compliance, and financial reporting across multiple regions while driving process optimization and strategic financial initiatives. You’ll manage distributed teams and ensure the scalability of financial systems to support our growing operational complexity.
Key Responsibilities
Global Financial Leadership:

Direct accounting, accounts payable, billing, collections, and payroll operations across international jurisdictions

Manage consolidated financial reporting and ensure strict compliance with US GAAP standards

Oversee month-end close processes, maintaining accuracy and timeliness across all financial activities

Implement and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
Strategic Financial Management:

Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial processes, automation, and operational efficiency

Develop and communicate accounting policies across departments, ensuring organizational alignment

Drive system implementations and process transformations to support scaling operations

Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, and IT teams to support international growth strategies
Team Development & Mentorship:

Manage and develop finance managers and team members across global operations

Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement

Delegate effectively while maintaining oversight of critical financial functions
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)

Active CPA certification with comprehensive US GAAP expertise

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in Controller or senior finance leadership

Proven experience managing international operations, multi-country payroll, and statutory reporting

SaaS industry background with ASC 606 revenue recognition implementation

Demonstrated success leading distributed teams and managing other managers

Strong technical accounting skills combined with strategic business acumen
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with financial systems: NetSuite, Navan, Corpay, Paylocity, or similar ERP platforms

Background in M&A due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition financial operations

Knowledge of international tax regulations, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions

Track record scaling finance operations in high-growth, venture-backed environments
