Consulting Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to lead strategic marketing initiatives for two new agency programs: a specialized service supporting smaller nonprofit organizations and an expanded website service offering for larger nonprofit entities. This part-time contract position offers the potential to evolve into a full-time role encompassing broader agency marketing responsibilities and select client project contributions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategies across multiple channels

  • Create compelling copy for editorial content, social media platforms, and email campaigns

  • Collaborate with creative teams to oversee design execution and content production

  • Identify and pursue strategic marketing partnerships and outreach opportunities

Program Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Lead marketing initiatives for new nonprofit-focused service offerings

  • Contribute to brand development and website strategy for emerging agency programs

  • Potentially manage paid advertising campaigns across search and social platforms

  • Propose innovative marketing approaches based on program objectives and audience insights

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative directors, project managers, and design teams

  • Align marketing initiatives with agency values and social impact mission

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions for new service launches

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience marketing agency services (digital, design, brand, or similar B2B environments)

  • Genuine interest or background in nonprofit sector marketing and communications

  • Exceptional writing skills across editorial content, email marketing, and social media

  • Strong design sensibility and experience collaborating with creative teams

  • Strategic thinking capabilities with analytical approach to marketing performance

  • Independent consultant mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating video content for social media and interview formats

  • Background marketing B2B services, awards programs, or service grant initiatives

  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizational structures and funding models

  • Knowledge of paid advertising strategies across digital platforms

Compensation & Engagement Details

  • Mid to senior level hourly compensation based on experience

  • Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension

  • Part-time commitment of 20-25 hours per week

  • Remote work flexibility with preference for NY/Brooklyn candidates

  • Potential transition to full-time role with expanded responsibilities
