Founded by alumni from Autodesk, EA, Nike, and Apple, we are seeking a seasoned operational leader to scale our customer implementation engine.
The Role: Director of Implementation
We are hiring a Director of Implementation to build and lead our team of architectural design professionals. Reporting to the VP of Adoption, you will be responsible for transforming our implementation process into a scalable, repeatable, and data-driven operation. You will own the critical migration path for customers transitioning from legacy systems like AutoCAD and Revit to the Higharc platform, ensuring flawless delivery, team excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards for a seamless customer transition.

Design, implement, and enforce a standardized implementation methodology, including playbooks, best practices, and tooling to drive consistency and efficiency at scale.

Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of architects and design professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as plan throughput, project duration, and quality metrics. Use data to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows.

Serve as the ultimate technical authority and escalation point for complex platform and migration challenges, acting as a bridge between the implementation team, product, and engineering.

Partner closely with the VP of Adoption on strategy and with the Product team to advocate for customer needs and influence the platform roadmap based on implementation insights.
Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in technical implementation, professional services, or customer onboarding within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), BIM, or construction technology sector.

3-5+ years of direct people leadership experience, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and managing technical teams.

Deep operational expertise in building, implementing, and optimizing repeatable project delivery processes and methodologies.

Strong technical acumen with a comprehensive understanding of migrating from legacy design systems (AutoCAD, Revit) to modern, automated platforms.

A data-driven mindset with experience establishing KPIs and using metrics to manage team performance and drive operational decisions.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
